Recovery shoe – The perfect shoe for rehabilitation and transport
The recovery shoe has a design that allows the horse to look good during rehabilitation and transport. The upper part is made of a waterproof elastic neoprene material with a waterproof zipper on the front. This allows you to control the hoof’s environment during rehab. The waterproof upper also allows the veterinarian to apply medication to the hoof without contaminating it. The elastic strap, combined with the unique heel design, allows unrestricted natural movement of the heels.
The sole of the shoe is soft, allowing the hoof to sink into the rubber sole and allowing the hoof to have full contact with the sole to ensure natural circulation and hoof functions. The recovery shoe is ideal for your horse in the rehabilitation phase or lower limb/hoof problems such as laminitis, hoof sensitivity, abscesses, medical treatments, etc.
The hoof shoe is easy to put on and closes with a strap. This makes it an ideal shoe for transport. The shoe is soft and higher than normal shoes, protecting the entire hoof and not just the lower part. Recommended for rehabilitation due to hoof sensitivity or medical treatment, etc., as a sick shoe used in clinics by veterinarians or during transport.
